Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 26, 2026
Pressure is a speaking-under-pressure training product. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Pressure website or app.
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide directly, such as your email address if you join the waitlist or contact us.
In the app, Pressure may process audio, transcript text, feedback results, app state, usage limits, and limited diagnostic information needed to operate and improve the product.
Microphone and audio
The app requests microphone permission so you can record spoken responses during training sessions. Audio is used to provide the app's core speaking, transcription, and feedback features.
Pressure is designed around short practice reps, not storing a library of your recordings.
Transcription and feedback
When you complete a speaking rep, audio or text may be sent to our backend services and AI providers to generate transcription, speech, feedback, scoring, and training-related analysis.
Optional feedback
If you choose to send feedback inside the app, your rating or written message may be sent to our backend and stored separately so we can improve Pressure.
How we use information
We use information to operate the website and app, provide transcription and feedback, manage the waitlist, respond to inquiries, improve the product, prevent abuse, and maintain service quality and security.
Third-party services
We may use third-party providers to operate parts of the service, including Vercel for website hosting and analytics, Cloudflare for backend infrastructure and feedback storage, Formspree for waitlist form processing, and OpenAI for AI-powered transcription, speech, and feedback.
These providers may process information on our behalf in order to deliver the service.
Data storage and retention
Some training history, progress, and app state may be stored locally on your device. Waitlist, contact, optional feedback, and backend processing data may be stored by the services we use to provide and improve Pressure.
We aim to minimize stored data where possible.
Logging
We may keep limited technical and diagnostic logs to maintain, secure, debug, and improve the service. We do not use logs as a public profile of your speaking history.
Your choices
You can choose not to join the waitlist or send optional feedback. You can also deny microphone permission, but the app's core speaking and recording features will not work without audio access.
Children's privacy
Pressure is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown on this page.
